Burleigh House was built around 1927 as a gentleman's residence and first became a guest house in 1958.
Today, we have eight guest rooms (one en-suite twin, five en-suite doubles and two singles).
The two singles share a bathroom and separate toilet on the same floor.
All our rooms have wide-screen, digital freeview television, radio/alarm, tea/coffee-making facilities and hairdryer.
Car parking is provided, off-street, at the rear of the house.
Burleigh House is family-owned and run, open all the year round.
Our commitment is to service and making your stay in Torquay as pleasant as possible.
Wireless high-speed broadband internet is available through-out the building and there's an internet-connected PC for guest use in our reception area. We make no additional charge for internet access.
Burleigh House is just a short walk to the town centre, harbour, beaches and Conference Centre.
We're also on the route for local buses to Paignton, Brixham, Newton Abbot and Exeter.
These buses run every 10 minutes (12 minutes on Sunday) from just a few yards from our front door.
Torre railway station is close-by with local trains to Paignton, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Dawlish and beyond.
