Living Coasts Living Coasts is Torquay's coastal zoo and conservation charity. It is open from 10:00am every day. In the recently opened 'Mangroves : The Roots of the Sea', you can journey into the roots of a mangrove forest, see stringrays, upside-down jellyfish and dinosaur crabs. |

House Greenway has been an important Devonshire property for over 500 years, the most famous owner being Agatha Christie who used it as a summer home. It is now owned by the National Trust. Mansion Oldway Mansion is open all year round for guided tours. The mansion is set in 17 acres of gardens, still partly laid out formally on an Italian theme and also including a dwarf box hedged maze garden, flower beds and topiaried trees. The mansion itself was modelled on the Palace of Versaille by Paris Singer (son of the founder of the Singer Sewing Machine Company), including a miniature reproduction of the Hall of Mirrors in Versaille. |
